Earth Building Theatre
A performance space in earth — very low embodied carbon, exceptional thermal mass, and acoustics a lightweight building struggles to match.

Earth construction is one of the oldest answers to a hot, dry climate and among the lowest-carbon still available. Used carefully it gives a theatre two things at once: a temperature that barely moves across the day, and walls that absorb sound instead of ringing.

Traditional earth building technique carries the construction; contemporary structural and environmental analysis sets the wall thicknesses, the spans and the ventilation.
