Net Zero Mosque
Cutting demand far enough that the renewable system left at the end is honestly small.

Net zero is usually approached from the wrong end — size the generation, then claim the balance. The sequence here is reversed. Form, orientation, envelope and ventilation take out as much of the load as they can, and only what survives that gets a photovoltaic array sized against it.

The intent is a building that reads as a traditional mosque and performs to contemporary low-energy standards, with a plant room that is a cupboard rather than a floor.
